Yeah, it's depressing. Tried booting up MW2 OG the other day just for nostalgia's sake and it’s basically a minefield of exploits waiting to brick your system. Activision treats those games like some cursed relics when they could’ve just patched the damn RCEs and thrown them on a stable custom server browser. Instead, we get recycled trash yearly and they pretend the classics never existed. I’d kill for a proper remaster that didn’t funnel you into Warzone lobbies with glowing anime guns.

Skins and item cosmetics just completely ruin the game. Back then if you saw some guy with the Golden calling card of AK headshots you knew this guy was a sweaty cunt but also good with the AK and it was the same with the other rare calling cards and emblems like the 20 nuke ones.

It happened with Halo too. Back on Halo up until Reach (On 4 everything looked the same) if you saw someone with Security or an armour effect you knew you were in for a hard game. Now its more than likely they bought that shit from the shop.
