I don't know why cdpr even bothers with gog when we all know that it's used for piracy or as some alternative to the steam version for one reason or another.

The only useful feature is that it updates games for you, if you buy games that still receive updates on GOG
Personally I just stick to manual downloads because I only buy old shit from them

If you prefer a 1-click "Install" button instead of downloading Game_Setup.exe from their website, and want a game launcher interface instead of the Start Menu, Galaxy works fine. It depends on the game, but yes they have cloud saves.

I CAN'T FUCKING TAKE IT ANYMORE

Yeah this is the real issue right here. I had this go on for an entire year and only in the last few months has it somehow unfucked itself and started working properly for me.

I don’t think it’s really worth it at the end of the day, unless it’s a new game that is currently being updated. But like this guy says >>712953576 I only use GOG for old shit. If I want online functionality I use Steam.

Its only real worth is the auto updating of games to fix issues as they release and if you're too lazy to hit two buttons to get your downloads from your download page. Other than that its main purpose is to track play time, participate in their achievement system, or make use of the multiplayer on the few games that support it.
