I prefer Penumbra their first series. But Amnesia isnt bad as far as horror games go.

Yeah, Penumbra had a more grounded atmosphere imo. That cold, isolated bunker setting just hit different. The puzzles felt more organic too. Amnesia had better storytelling maybe, but it also kinda kicked off that whole “no combat, just hide” trend that got old fast.
