The game's going to be free to play, so I guess it doesn't cost money to get toes wet, but I also not sure if I like F2P monetizations.

This looks to have far more polish though, less of "asset flip", better detail into optimization/graphics. Palworld is a game where everything besides the pal look like they're from asset store, meaning it's very generic looking game. This game is straight out of the gate much better looking in every way, at least according to the trailer video and gameplay. The article didn't seem to mention when the Beta is, but if it's anywhere weeks from now, I think we're going to see more coverage and gameplay of this game.

If the game's not pay2win or pay to progress, it might be good. It being free to play will attract people to try and if the online co-op or pvp is good, it could be fun. It looks better than Dauntless so maybe will get this for Switch 2 too

Monster tamer genre doesn't have many good looking games as far as I can see, this is the first one that made me really go "wow". We really need more games to have good realistic visuals. Stellar Blade kind of high visual fidelity on a monster tamer game would be good, better looking games in general would be most welcome

Yes the monetization aspect of it is still a question mark. We'll have to see what it'll be like, if it's mostly cosmetics then it shouldn't be tooooo bad.

Honestly, would I play a gacha I'd like if it was monster capture where the gacha is all cosmetic stuff.
