I'd imagine the game's at its best in coop, but solo's better than I thought it would be. Interested me enough to 100%. The women are all viglets though, so particularly if you're interested in Recluse you should be ready for 40 minute runbacks whenever you fuck up.

Coop is the intended experience but Solo can be a pretty relaxing experience as well since a lot of the game's difficulty is in character/boss knowledge and routing. I've been enjoying it solo, now that I know what I'm doing I don't actually feel pressured by the clock since usually I'm hitting max level with good loot anyway

Depends on the character. Wylder, Ironeye and Executor are all good solo characters, the rest range from so-so to pretty miserable.
