It's mostly ESLs that were filtered by this
There's no way anyone older than 13 wouldn't know what glassing someone means, right?
>inb4 I thought it meant pouring him a drink!

I'm an ESL and I immediately understood that it meant smash him with the glass cup. The only ones who didnt get it are brainlets, simple as.

is there more examples of these of games where players misinterpreted the choices?
I feel these two are the only existing examples

Yeah it kind of weeds them out. I had never heard the phrase before this moment but obviously could intuit what it meant. Considering the context of the situation and language.

Third worlders (read: Yuropeens) have people smashing glasses on people's heads so frequently they made it into a verb. Civilized countries do not use it this way. No you can definitely figure it out by context clues, but pretending anyone ever saying "glass him" as a verb is some third worlder living in a mud hut.

LITERALLY the only time 'glass' is used as a verb is for very intense bombardment. There has never been a verb for 'smashing a glass into someone's face'.

I've only heard about 'glassing' in Halo before and I only remembered that a millisecond after hitting the button lmao

Nordic here. It was obvious what it meant.
