I don't mind DLC if it's an expansion. I think it lets devs use their knowledge they gained from the base game to twist up the formula.
>Now you think because you "voted with your wallet", that you have a say in this franchise's future?
>Look around, you'll see a hedge fund manager, some whales, a couple billionaire furries, and an oil prince.
>Now I could completely alienate you and the rest of my audience without a moment's hesitation to keep getting their money. That's power you gotta buy.

you wanted me to do the due diligence on sony's next game, so i found some irregularities. "bungie corp" a whole division of sony, just disappeared overnight. i went down to the archives and i pulled some old files, "project marathon." you gonna tell me you didn't recognize your baby out there with stolen art and terrible gameplay?? now, you got the entire r&d department doubling on more gaas games, claiming its a"strong and diverse portfolio?" what are you developing now?? another destiny???
i want ... no games per year for the rest of my life.

Frustratingly accurate philosophy of many devs/publishers the instant loyal fan support on a title floats their name into a boardroom.

Lucky for you I'm making a game just like that. Just wait another 10 years until it is done

>with replayability
why you niggers need a game to put 300 hours into while having 300 untouched games in your backlog

>replayability
It's called mod support and a map editor.
>everything up front and no DLC
Literally can't happen under current AGILE development memes, due to constant misinterpretation of what a minimum viable product is. Even if they manage something solid, they slice off parts of it for later.
