I bought one orange mountain dew and won a copy of Halo 3 like a week after it released. It was pretty sick because we were poor back then and I couldn't afford it for another few months.

Sugar and fried foods are addictive. Worse, they make you lose your taste for normal food. And the food industry puts it in everything. Every time I go shopping I have to resist the urge to buy that crap because it's premade and you can smell how good it is from a mile away. Your friends and family buy it and expect you to eat it with them. There are commercials and ads everywhere.

My first online FPS was Quake 2. When I tried Quake 3 online after finally getting a real CD Key in 2001 I was extremey disappointed. Game was too fast, too extreme and also extremely rage inducing. I mean seriously, I played on Quake 2 servers that had Lithium hooks for quick vaulting around the map, and even with those it was never as fucked up as Quake 3. I remember taking a screenshot in Q3 just because I was able to reach first place in a TDM. The game made me rage so hard I made my first ragepost on a forum at around age 12. Ugh. It's really no wonder why Counter-Strike and Unreal Tournament overtook Quake 3 in all but "name-popularity" back then.

Yes just stopping yourself from eating it is the best way but again, it's addictive, and it's a socially acceptable addiction. It's especially bad for kids. Imagine giving your child crack and not expecting them to grow up a crack addict. It's pretty obvious when you think about it, but again, sugar is socially acceptable, so of course it can't be bad to give them it every once in a while, right?

Soda used to taste better. Im not saying that bc ive gotten used to it or anything. Went off sugar for a month and a half ajd it still tastes worse than it once has.

I am drinking water every day but from time to time a glas of fresh juice is nice too, got always a crate of water in glas bottles, no plastic bottles allowed. sometimes I even mix the fresh juice with the carbonated water

When I went to see Phantom Menace with my dad as a kid we stopped at a local burger joint (might've been McDonald's) and they had all kinds of Star Wars promotional shit and I got this big plastic drinking cup with Darth Maul on it.
