Just make stairs and triplets bro and don't call tiles unless you have a wincon such as triple dragon tiles or seat/round wind. Ditching all special tiles, 1's and 9's and just making stairs and triples from 2-8 is an easy, fast wincon and you can even call tiles if you want.
