I've reached 9k. Some advice from me is to try light bagging, chill in 2nd with a triple banana or shell, so you don't have to worry about blues and first can take the hit. Try to avoid being in first without a blue shell dodge item. Don't be greedy with grabbing double item boxes when they can get stolen out of nowhere. Practice time trials to learn optimal lines. Hold on to shrooms if a good cut is coming up. I think actual bagging is a meme and you won't learn how to become a good player from it. Good luck anon.

The weight stat is largely unchanged, it's just that Heavyweights still follow the convention of lower Accel and Handling to accommodate for the high Speed and Weight. In World, low Accel means it takes forever to get back up to speed (literally) when you inevitably get buttfucked by a stray item, and low Handling makes tight wall riding/rail grinding lines super difficult to pull off. Heavyweights aren't even used for tracks heavy on technical stuff (like Whistlestop Summit and Great ? Block Ruins) in Time Trials, doing them in an online race with up to 23 other people is just a no go without either good enough Handling to make sure a slight jostle doesn't send you face first off the track or into a patch of grass or enough experience and consistency for it not to matter

Im stuck at 8250-8500. I think the items with multiple uses that penetrate blocking items, like the boomerang, fire flower, and ice flower need extreme nerfs. Boomerang should only have 2 throws, flowers 3 charges and they should bother have their frequency halved. Either that or just remove all three items from the game. Also players should not be able to pull golden shoots on 4th.
