The Ryu and Ken of the games, both made shotos for obvious reasons. Sonic is more focused on his gap closers and neutral while Shadow is more focused on fireballs and damage output

Typical Zoner, far reaching attacks and projectiles
>Knuckles
Charge character. Bunch of command normals to make up for the few specials he has which are obviously charge attacks, Balrog/Boxer playstyle
>Amy
Rushdown, low health but fast and nimble. Uses hammer to fight obviously
>Rouge
Heavy focus on pressure. Has slow moving bombs on the screen. Can fly to maintain combos in the air.
>Cream
Puppet character, lowest health in the game. Makes up for it by having fast normals and being hard to hit, can attack alongside Cheese.
>Vector and Charmy
Main grappler of the game. Vector can bring out charmy to stun the opponent with stinger. Slow but can deal mad damage with command grabs
>Omega
Big body character. Is a robot so meter functions a bit differently, requiring you to charge. Long reaching normals, lots of projectiles and command grabs
>Eggman
Another Big body character. Relies on his robots to overwhelm the opponent. Has a counter that shows he can have up to 3 robots on the screen at once
>Metal Sonic
The Akuma of the game. Like Sonic and Shadow but faster, stronger but less health. Glass cannon.
