I think you might be a bit misled. It made it so that the classic vindictus content you remember (leveling through season 1/2 and doing the raids at the end) are mostly gone in the way that they were but the evolution of the game away from that point was going to happen regardless they just streamlined it. If people still had to grind colhen in flames for 10 hours to get to level 70 when the level cap is 120 no one would play the game.
The later stages of content in the game are mostly the same as they ever were and honestly there are a lot more amenities that make it much better nowadays but it's a bit counteracted with shit like costume gachas.

Rise removed a lot of stuff for the sake lf qol, stuff like 8p raids, potion drink animation, and they massively boosted additional damage and added them to armors even while also raising enhancement cap to +20. At the start, steels weren't a thing and just telling the player base to fuck off and payup goyim. Sure, it wasn't required to have +15 gear at the time, but the writing was on the wall and still a fuck you to end game players. I broke every single piece of gear I had right before the update and never looked back.

Kojima was on to something with that one character in MGS2 having armpit stubble.(thats right i said it) he truly is a genius. however i think he made a mistake not expanding on that concept in MGS4. I think that the female soldiers should all have had armpit cutouts where there was an area without fabric to show them off. I also think he should have made a list of 20 or so armpit hair styles and made it so every female soldier spawns with a randomized one. He had access to the technology with PS3s advanced hardware. i also think that he should have made some gear for Snake to use where he could detect the path that those guards had taken that operates on detecting armpit sweat clouds in the air. it would have looked like night vision. the controller would vibrate more frequently the closer you get.

I don't understand the point of these comments that are mad that no one records footage of gameplay. I don't enjoy watching some other shitter play the same game I can play. It's fun to talk about but making videos of it is mostly pointless especially when it's just going to tank the already limited bitrate of a 4MB webm from all of the action. That's why gameplay is mostly relegated to discussion where it actually has some value and I damn sure got my complaints out about some of the changes in defying fate in the thread as well as talking about the original game.
However I do still get enjoyment when viewing massive fucking bouncing tits. That's why all of the images you see posted are a majority related to sex appeal. The enjoyment actually translates appropriately.

compared to launch most things are much easier, getting ult chars is very reasonable in an afternoon or two of grinding, but it added new grinds which also suck like the weapon core shit is miserable. For some weapons its whatever but the fire rate ones suck ass because getting high rolls matters so much more then the others stats and you can sink 10+cores and never see an X roll cause it just keeps giving you the same 2 in different%s

oh and cores only come from one piece of content with basically no other rewards so you can't farm new characters or weapons while farming your cores which is annoying when catching up. They did change the core stages to be more ability friendly but idk how much that actually fixed the gun descendant dominance there
