Did anybody else have problems opening the game and get this weird message to celar the cache?

I closed the game then reopened it and it was sorta fine. It then downloaded files without saying how big they are. I checked what files they were, and one of them was this.

Is this how they're checking for modded games?

Notably I had to reinstall the game files because I didn't update the mod and my game was fucked up, that was the creation date. I cleared all files, reinstalled the mod from scratch and it works great now. I haven't updated it since lacrima released though.

Why would you ever summon Colossal Fighter?

Seriously, what board state would you want him in?
His entire purpose is to revive himself once destroyed by battle. That means for him to use his effect, the opponent needs to have a monter with at least 2800 ATK.
Why would I ever summon him instead of RDA who has 3000? And Stardust is a more useful level 8 Synchro in 99% of the situations.
Every state I can think of is an edge case.

The Hero structure deck cut down on the cost a good bit. It gets you 11 URs that you'd otherwise need to pull/craft. And even before that you could still build HEROs easily enough as a new player if you really wanted to. It'd just put you behind on starting other decks since it'd take up so many resources and you'd have no generic ED cards that cross over with your next deck.

I hate this shit. I'm not crafting URs for a 3 day event. I can put up with not having PoG and whatever for my Goat Time Travel decks. It sucks but sometimes they're on the bottom of your deck regardless. I can still craft and play any deck I want for that format. But If I wanted to fuck around with Assault Mode in a time travel event I'd need to craft its URs.

I wish they gave you like some loaner crafting points to craft loaner cards for these. They did that one event with loaner cards already so half the coding's already there.

Every deck needs to run Veiler/Imperm/Mourner type cards. The game is too powerful to let your opponent resolve everything. But because of that single target negates are the weakest form of interaction and are the easiest to punish.
Droll is much stronger but inconsistent because not every deck is hurt by it. Current top meta decks are all kneed by droll

My issue with Exosisters is that their clothes are too intricate with many parts.
I have to take the nude that the AI spit out and have to merge parts of the original with it so I can restore some of the design and fix some of the fuckups (like the wrist guards).
And that requires putting the original on an upper layer, then cutting out ALL the clothing pieces, which there are too many of.

I try to restore as much of the detail as possible from the originals while keeping them nude.
I think the aerolas look fine, but sure I'll change them. The bellybutton thing is definitely a must though.

The locks are Crimson Resonator, Red Rising Dragon, Bone Archfiend and Soul Resonator, but Soul and Bone are only for the rest of the turn.
Vision + Bystial = Baronne without committing your Normal Summon, going second that's a way better play than trying to extend into a board with the locks, but it's only worked like 1/9 of the times.
It's never hurt me when I did use it (or the game was already long lost) but it seems so situational

The only time I can punish Nib is if I have Branded Regained on the field. Depending on the Bystial in grave, you can make Lizardose to banish itself or a +1 and have Druiswurm remove the Nib.
Link Spider is useless 99% of the time outside of that specific scenario, if I get nibbed without regained I'm SOL anyway.

You shouldn't be always using your hand traps in the same spot. You should weigh the risk/reward of using them in different spots and act based on what your hand is able to play through. Ashing Creation King is less likely to do nothing and more likely to force them to end on a shitty board. Ashing Tatsu is a higher risk, higher reward play that if successful will leave them with nothing, but if not will be far less effective than King.
If your hand can play through some stuff then take the safe play and Ash King. If you've got like, one starter and a bunch of bricks, then take the gamble on their hand being just as bad and ash Tatsu.
You should also be making reads on what else they have in hand based on weird sequencing or searches or whatever and adjust accordingly.

It was a counterpart to Fusion back in the Ye Olde Fusion Deck days. Fusions required specific monsters to make, Rituals could use anything with enough levels as tribute but you had to have the Ritual monster. Of course that just meant they were both shit because you spend way more resources on a monster that loses to Sakuretsu Armor like everything else.
Fusions eventually loosened up on material requirements, and the ED turning into a toolbox/where the actual boss monsters are stored meant decks were designed to always access them. While Rituals were stuck with Manju/Senju pretty much intentionally being their best normal summon before Diviner and the innate hand disadvantage to overcome meant the monster had to be extremely powerful one way or another to be worth summoning. Or cheat (and even then, the Drytron Ritual monsters aren't that good).
And no, you still can't put Rituals in the ED because then we lose Prep and Pre-Prep and Manju/Senju and a dozen other support cards that they benefit from due to being in the main deck and you have to errata like a hundred cards and now all those decks are nerfed by ED max size anyway. Rush Duel only got away with it because they got to write the rules from the ground up.

Your same question applies for Rafflesia: Do you really need more than 1? Both Raffy and Pingu can be at 2 if you have the space, so I would advise not dusting her. Atypus is a 1-of though, you can dust her, and Traptantalizing Tune is only useful in Paleo.

I had both of those at 2 in my early budget builds because I rolled multiple of them too. Ping at 2 sort of comes up if your first one dies and you need to remake one to tutor again and Atypus at 2 is really funny because not only does her attack boost stack but her negate and pop is only a soft once per turn but I've only summoned two Atypus once in a whole year.
If you're experimenting with different engines that can get two level 4s on field without using up your normal summon you'll burn the first Ping to tutor a traptrix card and to make Sera and then can use the second one on your actual end board.
I'd keep the second Ping.

Mill a million grave effect trap card and use rollback to maximise value.
There's an almost infinite number of ways to configure paleo but they all boil down to maximising stall effects like Waboku, Rise to full height and Threatening roar to turn the game into a tempo war and packing enough blow-out traps like rollback elemental burst, daruma, a million zeus lines etc to rest the opponents card advantage. Paleos when managed correctly are pretty sticky since as long as you can get them onto an XYZ they will go back to grave.
The hot new tech is running primite traps because you can target your own paleos for the steal effect of scream.
