It's pretty fun with the different meta builds you can make. The devs made some retarded ships so look out.
There are 2 extreme tard ships.
Tardship 1: Built to use a beam that kidnaps enemies in a single room, so you can have a hound use it's scare ability to get the enemy to leave the room to go into a launch pad that grabs enemy units,stuffs them into tardpedos and launches them at the enemy.
it sounds funny, and is very early game but it becomes nearly impossible to do this late game.
Tardship 2: it's a giant ship and you only get 1 guy your commander, but he's given space crack module so he's 50% fast. Use the assassin chick and she is 100% faster. Sounds cool but it means nobody is manning any weapon or support systems.
When you do finally get people, it's pretty great sending your commander on the other ship and see them run around on crack blowing things up, but some commanders cant even move.
