Would much really change if he took over the ncr? He criticizes the fact that its an oligarchy but his conquest would just turn it into a monarchy, and i doubt the legion is capable of assimilating everyone into the cult of mars.

If he wants some sort of revolution what even is that revolution going to entail? Will he redistribute all the land and resources of the brahmin barons? Amongst who? His lackeys?

i imagine a legion victory would look less like "the end of freedom and democracy" and more like all those times turkic migrants took over persia. Most ncr settlements would maintain their local oligarchies and maybe elected mayors, and the only change would be a legion tribal ruling class on top of the already existing ncr ruling class.

This essentially changes nothing

Reminder when fags cope about him not having an heir, the courier is his Augustus. He could spin a lie or myth of you being raised in secrecy

Narratively speaking i think the legion ending is the most interesting.

Ncr Victory turns fallout into a western but with radiation. All the interesting conflict is on the ncr frontier.
Mr house/courier endings are just "another prewar faction" for you to visit or just turning fallout into a really shitty cyberpunk.
But after ceasar dies you can do pretty much whatever the fuck you want. You can have a legion civil war between his successors. You can have feuding clans amongst the legion tribes. You can have a rebellion against the legion. You can have death cults developing under legion rule. You can have aliens or mutants threaten a weak and unstable legion. You can even have you play as a pretender to the throne of the legion. Its more medieval-like but doesn't take away from the fact its a post-apocalyptic setting where humanity is struggling to survive.

It also has the benefit of moving everything away from modern politics as it enables you to do stupid factions whose entire ideology is just a thought experiment

I hate how vegas is in that shitty fossil of an engine Bethesda used as much as I like the art direction assets carried over from Fallout 3 the scale of the Vegas could've been much better with vehicles too
