I remember when shadowverse first launched I made a poorfag swordcraft deck without Orihime (or whatever the girl was that filled the board with 1/1s) since I was a Forestcraft fag and didn't have enough to build a good secondary deck. I still won a ton of games with it since their silver and gold cards were so good. I hear that nowadays half your deck has to be gold/legendary or else it's not meta.

they play the bitch who gives all fairies swarm after having added a bunch of fairies to hand and then basically just slam fairies into your face while controlling the board and slamming removal, which is very annoying but its kind of iffy on effectiveness.
the other is the 9 cost that converts all 1 cost and lower cards in their current hand to a spell that does 3 damage to either an opponent or follower, so they get like a few fairies in hand, drop the 9 cost, then end the game next turn

forest seems to best played as board control aggro but a lot of people seemingly trying to play it as control and its just laughably easy to deal with when they do that.

You literally just have to do your dailies, buy the battle pass (with funbucks not real money btw) and you should be good in like a month or two. Angelic prism is great for draing the amulets. Evolving it also lowers cost of one amulet which can be handy at times. (Lower cost vessel or avian statue). Darkhaven grace is your central card you always want it early in the game. It buffs your follower and heals you. You dont need follower in field to use it, you'll still get heal. Since you play control, its okay to have multiple darkhaven graces on field (but not too early as you wont have playpoints to engage them all). Just make sure that you dont have 5 things on field when Lapis is going to come back to field.

card draw is so easily accessible and consistent that it makes aggro and mid-range decks never have to worry about running out of steam unless they happen to not get their draw engines but that's nothing compared to the fact that some classes have access to some 9-10 atk follower that gets to attack your face the turn it's played on a game where you have 20HP max. And add to that the +2 or +3 they can get if they saved an evolve to hit you for over half of your total HP.

That's how i was at first. Just kept playing and changing one or two things in my deck. Suddenly i started winning. When i got into a losing streak again, i changed things until i won again. Idk, I'm trying to run midrange sword, and most opponents wipe my board every turn. Artifact portalcraft is the worst offender with free 3 damage board nukes. So the game boils down to scratching their face in first couple of turns and then punching it for 10+ damage in 1-2 turns later.

Anyone else starting to struggle against clear meta decks and paypigs now. It's practically impossible to win against them in mid-late game when they're playing bronze and silvers and they're dropping full board clear super evo legos on curve back to back. The momentum swing is unrecoverable.

We have a very small card pool atm, I'm sure there will be a bunch of new decks popping up next expansion that let you see more card variety...though if we're unlucky it will just be ADDing unto the existing legendary core cards for a craft, rather than replacing them if they're too generically good.
