Eh. I don't think this guy's correct. Kamehameha is definitely the more well known move. But I feel like he kind of have a point. In Dragonball, the Kamehameha kinda stopped being special after a while. By the time he fought Piccolo, it was just a useful tool in Goku's toolkit. In fact, it was extremely rare for it to be a deciding factor in a fight. Goku used it less and less as the series went on.
He defeated Mercenary Tao by deflecting his grenade back at him.
It couldn't harm Tenshinhan directly, so he used it as a propulsion mechanism instead.
While it was a factor in his victory against Demon King Piccolo, it was once again mainly as a propulsion mechanism.
Same thing against Piccolo Jr.
It was ineffective against Raditz.
It was able to blow away Vegeta, but Goku was ultimately unable to defeat him.
He used it twice to zero effective against Freeza, and largely stopped relying on ki attacks henceforth.
He was able to blow up most of Cell's body with it, but it failed.
When Gohan used it, it was actually the finishing move for once against Cell.
He didn't really use it at all in the Boo arc.
