Giving the choice in a Talent Tree, in what order do you fill it up? Do you go all in on one and go to another, or only take the talents you really need from all sides?

Me, I usually 100% Exploration and movement abilities like Double Jump or Lockpicking to reduce backtracking to the maximum.

there is no point to a talent tree if you are able to obtain all options

But in what order do you start? Even if you are given enough point for 33% of the talents, what order are you going in?

Bum rush the keystone stuff then do whatever the fuck you can do with the leftover points

That was the best one too. This one looked cool, but it keep doing weird stuff, so I told him to go simple.

For me, it's Map Reaping. Like Soul Reaping except you lose your sense of direction instead.

>3 combat trees
>1 non-combat tree
seems silly

Well Magic usually has some movement stuff. Melee and Range too.
Anonymous No.713035102 [Report]
the most efficient route is usually to go straight to whichever path gives the most passive xp bonuses, which will make earning more points easier for the rest of the game

That would mean that there's 3 trees that enhance combat and non-combat capability and 1 tree that only enhances non-combat capability which is even worse

So when does this get nerfed?
Anonymous No.713036191 [Report] >>713036556
>>713035159
How is that worse? Magic usually has some Teleport and protection spells while Melee has Charges and HP Buffs, Range has Speed and Jump bonuses and the Exploration side has "Find Treasures" "Boosted Radar" "XP Buff" "See Weakness" "Find hidden passages" and stuff like that.

Grand Mere is the best kind.

Because it would feel bad to invest in the non-combat tree when you can double dip in one of the combat trees. Instead you should divvy up non-combat abilities to the combat trees
>melee can break down walls and barricades
>range can shoot rope arrows and parkour
>magic can sense hidden objects and teleport

Sure, it depend mostly in what type of talent tree and where the talents are located. But I always focus the Talents that let me see hidden passages/objects first. I will rush them. Except in Metroidvanias. I'll take Double Jump too.
But if Exploration talents were all mostly on one side of a quadrant, I would focus that quadrant almost exclusively. Maybe skipping the XP buff stuff.

Do you guys prefer exploration stealth or magic stealth?
