I'm about 15 hours just finished the wasteland main quest and now doing side quests
My only gripe is not being able to run and jump which makes any platforming section feel clunky as shit

On new game+, the combat is engaging but I hate that you get stuck into attack animations, the costumes are nice but i want more!!! Modding community is shit though and it looks like 95% of mods are just goonerbait, and while I don't mind sexy, I want it to be tasteful.

Loving the game so far, but unfortunately the mods all fucking suck. Entirely uninspired slop despite the massive potential. We could have custom animations, or better body physics, but no. It's just palette swaps of existing outfits and QoS tattoos. Why are >90% of modders subhuman?

Similar to Khazan, I like that the game rewards aggression, and you can make opportunities instead of just waiting for them. However, just like Khazan, even moreso, it goes a little too far and once you've built enough meter you can just rape the boss to death (especially if you build around it).

I also don't like the overall aesthetic of the game, for the most part. I liked the underground laboratories, I liked the Orbital Elevator, the sci-fi aesthetic was just more interesting and pleasing to look at. The wasteland and the great desert, along with the general Naytiba designs were just eyesores, and they were not even remotely as interesting or challenging to fight compared to Raven, or the bonus fights like Scarlet and Mann. Scarlet and Mann made me excited for the sequel and I hope they recognize that people who plays these games want to be challenged.

Even the director admitted this, but the story and it's presentation was very weak. Still, that wouldn't be that big of a deal, except the game doesn't let you skip most cutscenes, and for some reason there's an insanely long delay for skipping dialog. You basically have to wait until half the sentence is completed before you can skip to the next sentence. So the director basically admits that the story was rushed out and not compelling, and even on consecutive playthroughs you can barely skip any of it.

The open world areas are also insanely dull and a waste of development time. The game would have been better served having more linear segments and focusing on making them more interconnected instead of adding this giant box of copy pasted ruined structures.

If they just focus on what worked and ditch what didn't they could have a much better game on their hands for Stellar Blade 2, but sadly I feel the assessment that the game was mid overall is largely true.

I think they shoved in the open world regions to warrant a 60 dollar price tag but yeah they were easily the worst parts of the game. Great desert especially.

Personally how I would do it is add more more enemy encounters in each linear zone but make them far weaker so that it feels like a power fantasy as you slice through them but at the same time also make them hit hard so that you are still always on your guard.

Naytiba for the most part imo were fine. I loved that you could slice them up to pieces. Not terrible boring but I had my enjoyment killing them.

NTA but I know what that anon is talking about. Once you get the speed boost while running, if you try and jump the game kind of nerfs your momentum. Probably because it would allow you to jump to places the devs wouldn't want you to reach.
