They go to forums and imageboards and tell everyone how good Linux is instead.

that's the steam deck, it uses a dynamic VRAM allocation with a minimum of 1GB and a maximum of 8GB

That's definitely the Steam Deck, you can't even run most DEs on Linux without at least 4.

They don't need to play videogames, they watch them on Youtube and calculate the gameplay in their heads. Mmm, maybe more sodium chloride next time

I know people like to install Linux on older computers but that seems really disproportionate. Is there some Chromebook shit driving up that number or does that not count as Linux?
... Never mind, I just looked it up and apparently that's Steam Deck's default VRAM allocation. I suppose it doesn't need much for 1280x800. Then again I'm stupid and barely know what VRAM is.

Actually, most of them just use Proton and don't give a shit about native support anymore. Welcome to this decade.

I'm not on my Steam Deck (which seems to be the device primarily responsible for that statistic), but to answer your question, I play only the most based games for based individuals such as myself.

It's pretty much what >>713044020 said. Look at the SteamOS percentage in the Linux distribution breakdown.

The good games.

Seriously, the only shit that needs even close to 1GB of VRAM is modern AAA goyslop shit or poorly made indie shit on Unreal/Unity engines.
