But when it comes to modern games, suppose you add on top of the manjaw all the design choices (short hair, flat body, PERMA FURROWED BROW AND FROWN, shit unisex outfits, monotone angry voice, and rigid movement that lacks any femininity etc) boom you got an ugly, unappealing character
Same with picrel's game, Jesse from Control gets mocked and confused for a dude cause of the office suit, tied back hair, looking all serious all the time, and the other non-feminine design choices really don't balance her gigantic jaw
Here though, it looks fine, and I'll say she's hot because she did manage to contrast that with womanly aesthetic choices in other areas
Pulling the most random examples here but LT Mira from Space Marine or Manon Batiste from the Medal of Honors are on the other end of the spectrum, they can pull off the most manly fucking outfit and profession and still come off as women because they still have discernibly soft female facial features, and nobody is gonna confuse them for a dude
