After many years of enjoyment while holding a controller in front of the television, I am considering quitting gaming in 2025. I have played all of the classic games from my childhood, and the new ones are simply rubbish, it's time for new hobbies I suppose

Time for a productive hobby
I got bored with vidya. I'm now conversational in Japanese (which I use to talk to old dudes at samurai battlefield museums, kek) and paint minis and stuff
And then once in a while I get the hankering to play vidya and it's way more fun
I still come to /v/ though for the shitposting

I just uninstalled MGSV because I got a stupid checkpoint which didn't give me time to fulton appropriately. I think I'm just too jaded for gaming these days. Fuck my life

Yeah, I just watched a few videos about the missions. People just fultoned their way out of the mission (by grabbing the tanks) or launched rockets on the tanks. Anyway, it's not a problem of the game, mind you, it's just me. I actually think games that give you tools to finish your objectives the way you see fit are the best.
I love Death Stranding.

If it's the mission where you have to destroy a bunch of tanks and APCs, you can pretty much just wait near the end of the run and they'll all come to you. It's just hard to get all the tanks and pull all the secondary objectives since at least two are timed to fail, so you have to grab them fast, so D-Horse or D-Walker.

Yeah, there are two tanks and a truck (it's called Mission 8 - Occupation Forces). Videos made it easy.
I'm sure is, I simply need to grind a little. Didn't even had a rocket launcher. Anyway, it's uninstalled now. I'm about to install Death Stranding again. Maybe a few months from now I'll dive in once more. Thanks, though.

Oh that one. The best way to halt the convoy is to drop a jeep in the middle of the road, you just have to find a stretch where it's hard for them to drive around it. If you have sleep gas grenades, you can pop one at the truck and that'll get the commander and the driver, then you just have to sneak up on the tanks. It's easier to do if you have a frag grenade, just hard throw it on the other side to get their attention while you make your approach.
