i like lakes
simple as
>The atmospherei'm just ranking them on how they make me feel when i think of them
ash lake just has a feeling of grandeur
it looks nice visually, the idea is really distinct, it's hidden, the theme is good, it's empty in a good way, it's like the end of world
i like the theme of a world inside a painting, i like the theme of winter freezing a land that was once not frozen (it feels that way idk if lore reflects that), probably reminds me of narnia
firelink shrine is like an oasis and it's really just odd and very vertical which i like and there's a nice view from it and the theme is nice
anor londo also feels very important, i like the concept of like an empty palace that was once lively and now it's empty with only people who guarded it still devoted to their job, i like it, probably inspired by something i cant recall
sen's fortress is just very well made and just a cool castle, new londo is also a cool concept, flood is cool because it has this mythological/biblical tinge to it, it's like a new capital but turned into a graveyard, cool
i guess i shouldve put undead asylum in "uninteresting" since it's just boring, nice concept but i don't like it
i guess blighttown is neat and actually it's _good_ that it's annoying and it's kind of the whole point and it achieves that well but i really loathe it which kind of was the point of it so i guess blighttown is the most dark souls 1 in dark souls 1, without it the game wouldnt be the same but i still hate it
