I remember reading one of the PK comics as a kid. There was a particularly beautiful shot of the city seen from a large window, with a hot-air balloon and a giant ad with a duck girl in bikini, who had been drawn in a sexy pose, like any normal ad you would see in any real city. It wasn't vulgar by any means, and that made it even hotter and more stricking. It didn't get me hard, but it surprised me a lot, I never expected to find it in a comic for children. Disney Italy making excellent comics with excellent artists who came up with pretty interesting characters and scenarios. They spread to the rest of Europe and Donald (the character Italian artists most loved to write and draw because he is always out of luck, constantly penniless, and prone to anger just like an Italian) became more famous than Mickey. Many kids learned how to write and read before school by reading Topolino ("Mickey Mouse", the official name of the comic book released every Saturday, which contain episodic stories with Donald, Mickey etc.)
