As far as I know it's just the game with 64 bit support, high resolution support and some upscaled textures. No gameplay changes announced as of yet.

I am curious how they are going to give proper 64bit support to what amounts of the game engine from impossible creatures. None of this LAA bullshit and I will be mightily angry if that is what they mean.

The real crime is the truly massive list of known bugs that was collated on the relicnews forums is long gone. Sure Iron Lore fixed a significant portion of them for SS but there were still plenty left and fixing them would be a great QoL feature for this re-release.
