ATELIERBROS GET THE FUCK IN HERE
IT'S ATELIERING TIME
I've been playing Rorona, up to the 8th assignment and I dunno
The game is super cute which I love, but the combat is braindead, the crafting is average, the assignments are pretty easy and repetitive, and that's even going for 8 requests each time too
I'd really like to love a game in this series, I think I could because I adore everything except really the core of it.
Also I don't mind the time limit, it makes you think about what you're doing and actually plan
Can you just put the one-hit-kill trait on bombs and trivialise the entire game?

>Best turn-based RPG of the year by leaps and bounds
>Got eclipsed by French garbage because they spend a fuckton of money on marketing
Yumia deserved better
I have played a couple of the games and playing L&S right now but there is a lot I don't like about it. Maps are too big and you can't fast travel between areas like Ayesha. It gets really annoying when you are forced to go through an entire map just to talk to someone for the story to progress. I can't make more than one quantity at once because of that stupid minigame, I swear to fuck I hate it so much it's unreal.
I think I will go back to playing Dusk games, I actually enjoyed the crafting in Ayesha

Should I finish Rorona or just move to Totori?
>>713074905>Yumia deserved betterno she did not yumia has more in common with genshin than the older better games.

Which of the pre-Arland games are good?
>>713076380At least she bigger than totori's.
>>713076956Mana Khemia is pretty cool
>>713076956Mana Khemia and Iris. Annie is also decent.
>>713074260Imagine your consciousness coming into it's state of being for the very first time in the world, only to realise you've been synthesized as a living pair of shoes to be worn for years on end by an alchemist, wouldn't that suck? haha
>>713081197It'd be different if it was my consciousness and they were Bayonetta's heels
Atelierfags, I want to pick up the Arland trilogy. Does it matter what platform? Switch, PS5, PC? Any major differences between them?
>>713083247I've only played them on ps4/ps5 and had no problems. I think I've heard people have issues with the switch ports, though I'm not sure what exactly and which games. I know the pc versions have a common issue where they run like ass unless you plug in a controller.
>>713083247Personally i got it on my switch since i like playing it in portable mode.
But I'd say get it on the one you use the most
the fun part is the postgame, because that's when shit actually starts to matter and you have to do some fuckery to get shit done. It's going to be a fucking nightmare of finding a super rare trait you need on an item that can only be crafted into shit that you can't use as material for the item you actually want to craft. I remember spending like 30 or so ingame days on crafting a high cost supplement by eventually having to deplete MP so synthesis chance went down and then hoping my craft would fail so I could get rubbish with all the traits on it and then turn it into supplement. It's fucked.
>>713084452Yeah, it's not uncommon for the first fodder enemy you run into in post-game dungeons to be stronger than the story boss.
