The Elder is a different kind altogether. The others you can see mutating into the angel aesthetic as if that's their natural end path of evolution, but they still retain the animalistic traits and bodies. It's an extension of the other Alpha Naytibas who all have divine traits as well like porcelain faces and the like.

It is kinda like how in Remnant all the Root used to eventually transform into more colourful and vibrant forms as they got closer to the root of the infection, but the second game forgot that and made them all brown and red again.

On a thematic level in terms of scifi naming tropes I can see where they're going on with it because providence means god's intervention and mother sphere had to hijack it to stop you.

A third hub and a vehicle to use for getting around the hubs, the Great Desert is a pain to traverse because you're on foot. Yes its not that big but every three feet something is trying to kill you.
Eve's ultimate outfit is extremely silly. Really seeing that Blade and Soul influence in how silly it is.
Probably dual wielding if we're not playing as EVE, or a better super mode that doesn't require I fill the bar first. Feels too much like a panic button and not something to use to help with combat.

Eve doesn't need a vehicle. They should make it scale so that if the map is much wider than it is, Eve gets progressively faster and faster. So if Wasteland, as small as it was, gained a double sprint. Places like Great Desert should get a triple if not quadruple sprint.

But that isn't the plot at all. The plot is that a means to an end is never worth it, especially if what you are about to sacrifice is greater than what you are hoping to accomplish. Instead of trying to get around Mother Sphere's weaknesses as an AI or focusing on their survival, humanity tried to bruteforce the war by turning themselves into bioweapons that ended up destroying them before their enemies could.

I like that about it, since it gives the decision a bit more weight and in my case, made me feel like I fucked up after making an emotional decision. Declining his offer was my instinctual choice because I didn't buy his story, but after the fight (especially the initial phase where he barely even makes an attempt to hurt you) the reality sets in that you maybe made the wrong decision, especially with his last words.

NG+ unlocks further skills as well as MK2 exospines and gear with higher stats which does transform the game somewhat. The blade strength will also be upgradeable further (but increments are lower). Sidequests will all reset but item collections won't, which can be important because some sidequests have skins and redoing them on NG+ gives you a recolor if you did it before.

i've pondered this myself, and i think it comes down to a number of things.
1) Eve's head/hair is quite bland. i think what makes a good sexy female character can really come down to her head, because if she doesn't look all that interesting naked, some artists aren't going to want to draw her naked.
2) Mechanical parts - a lot of artists don't fuck with wanting to draw complex mechanic/cybernetic body parts or decal
3) this one is inconclusive, but i genuinely believe when the source material is overly sexual that it makes people less inclined to want to draw porn of it. its inconclusive because characters like 2B and Shantae exist that are fairly sexual designs in their source material, but still garner a large amount of porn. but going off my experience, i almost never see people draw porn of Dead or Alive girls, or Senran Kagura girls, for instance. of course it exists, i'm sure there's thousands of porn drawings for those franchises if i go to r34 right now, but it doesn't compare to the amount and quality of more "tastefully" sexy designs like Tifa or Chun-Li or something. they have sexual aspects to their design (Tifa's big tits, Chun-Li's thighs) but it's not as overt and in your face necessarily in the games themselves, save for a few small moments like maybe a couple of Chun-Li's alternate outfits or Tifa being in a bikini at some point in FF7R.

Outside of a few bosses, alpha and elite naytiba in the game just appear then you kill them. If it was up to me, I'd go the monster hunter route and make their presence known to the player as they enter the boss' domain and little by little you either see glimpses of the boss or just random info that hypes up the boss until you eventually track and fight it.
Either that or add more humanoid bosses that banter with the player.

Sometimes, if you ask about what games they actually think are good, they'll give you a list of some very niche games. Games barely anyone has played or are ancient. Now, just looking for criticism isn't really fair. And if you haven't played the game, I think people should admit that their critique isn't from their own personal experience. But then you get a FOURTH group of people: People who play games they don't like just to have an "authentic" opinion about it. This 4th group can overlap with the 3rd group.

But that's life, I guess. It's what you get when a lot of people are paying attention to a game. Whether it's here or on another website, I see similar takes from all the different groups. Just more samefagging and spamming on /v/.

Technically...we don't know this. While the Andro-Eidos we visit upon on the surface are like this, it isn't necessarily the case with the later versions like EVE, Tachy, Lily, and Raven. Especially EVE, who's probably special. The most that we saw was dismemberment of an arm, both with Tachy and Raven. We never got to see the inside of their torso or their head. All the corpses we saw throughout the game were largely intact.
