Sometimes he has good common sense takes. Other times he has no fucking clue what he's talking about.

But political streamers are the most bottom of the barrel trash you can find and I'd prefer it if he went back to playing WoW or other video games. But my opinion is irrelevant and it's obvious he gets more views, attention, money and enjoyment out of reacting to clips.

I watched Asmongold for two months before coming to the conclusion that most of his videos are him crowdfunding opinions from the chat and presenting them as his own. I also dislike how he'll often get more views reacting to other people's content than the original. He's not a bad guy and I don't understand why he generates so much seethe, but his channel is also very clearly not about gaming and people positioning him as the "common man" don't understand that he has no real convictions beyond engagement bait.
