Because people weren't accounting for $80 games, $90 controllers that still use the same poorly quality-controller potentiometer based sticks as last generation, a lack of even ANNOUNCED compelling new first-party software (baffling for how fucking long they took to start the generation), games that don't do anything to show a palpable upgrade over Switch 1 besides framerates (since the currently known games with gameplay blatantly started on the Switch 1), or for Nintendo to use the Switch 2 upgrades to ensure that Switch 1 games will continue to never go down in price.

Honestly, I thought I might flip it for a small profit after getting my fill since I knew there wasn't much to be excited for yet. Worst case scenario, I'm just getting my money back.
