Every time I turn the game on, I'm immediately in my "happy place". Literally doing anything in the game is super fun even after 100%ing the entire map. It feels kinda like running and jumping around the castle hub in Super Mario 64; I can never seem to get enough of it. The larger scale and varied environments are also extremely appealing to me. I love big beautiful naturalistic environments IRL like forests and mountains, etc. Genshin is the only game aside from Elden Ring and XCX that really captured the grandiosity of exploration for me. It makes me feel so fucking good to simply walk around in Genshin while taking in the beautiful sights and listening to the incredible jaw-dropping musical score. So even after I've completed literally all the content the game has to offer, I find myself wanting to go back to just roam around the gorgeous scenic locations of Teyvat.
I hate to sound like some filthy chink shill who's trying to sell the game here, but it really is the type of game I've wanted ever since I was a child. I'm so glad other developers are taking note and trying their best to copy the Genshin formula (like Wuthering Waves, Azur Promilia, etc). The more the merrier as far as I'm concerned.
