I don't know why but it really feels like Yu-Gi-Oh should have like this one very popular classic videogame on the Sega Saturn, like it just has that vibe to it.
But nope the only 2 known games it has are on ps1 and ps2.
That just feels weird.

Is it just me?
Doesn't it feel like the big game this had should've been on the saturn?

Yugioh has like over two dozen games, what do you mean?

you might be high but it does have a saturn vibe to it i'll give you that
however, it's owned by konami
so it was only ever on sony and nintendo consoles and never on anything from sega

I mean it just feels like it would have a cult classic game on the saturn just by how it looks, you know what I mean?

Yeah for sure, ohhh right I forgot the manga is owned by Konami.

Yugioh didn't really get started until 1998. Saturn was dead. Maybe it could have a Dreamcast game.

Hmm, fair enough I just meant aesthetically.
It does not have a dreamcast vibe at all.

why would it have a game on saturn? Sure it started in 96 but it didn't really become what people think of it until around 98. I know the saturn had a longer, healthier life in japan than the west but by that point they were gearing up for the dreamcast (or sticking to the PS1 if anything, as evidenced by the fact that yugioh itself did this with forbidden memories.)

also what the fuck do you mean "the only 2 known games" yugioh has a billion games even if you only focus on the really old stuff from before they all just became 1:1 sims of the modern TCG.

I already answered, because it looks aesthetically like it would be on saturn.
That's the vibe I get from looking at the art, the saturn covers had that egyptian golden borders look to them or something I dunno.
It doesn't have the dreamcast vibe at all, dreamcast was all clear colorful plastic y2k neon glowy colors scribble spastic cartoony wacky, doesn't fit it at all.

I mean the 2 known VIDEOgames...
Those are the 2 big gamey games it had, the ones that weren't the card game but their own thing and were popular.

Like you know what I mean, you look at this and you're like damn that's yugioh, that's the vibe right there.
There should've been a yugioh disc for saturn because it fits this vibe.

Forbidden Memories sold more units than something like Shandalar and it is barely following the rules of the game.

...okay?
don't see what that has to do with anything
