Sacrificing Chloe is objectively the better ending, and leads to max and the town finding happiness without the towns woke dyyke messing everything up.

Both endings are fine because Kate lives. A lot of people dying in the sacrifice Arcadia Bay ending is retarded since nobody took the time to evacuate or hunker down somewhere. The town wasn't even completely razed in the aftermath. Sacrificing Chloe is still the moral choice.
