Original for all three of them.
The "Enhanced (*) Editions" literally butchered a shitton of things, from censoring Soviet symbols and props, to outright downgrading graphics. Modding is also way bigger pain in the ass, and the devs are enforcing some bizarre, political rules on it as well.

My suggestion as an oldass STALKER fag:
Pirate the release versions of SoC-CoP,
patch them to the version (You) want,
and start without any major overhaul mods.

If you are skeptic about "muh bugs & stability" (you shouldn't be this day and age), just install Starter Pack mods (ZRP for SoC, SRP for CS).

nah, anon I'm gonna disagree. I wouldn't wish vanilla stalker on anyone, even with patches. The games are terribly outdated in most regards. Clear Sky still plays like shit because of the gunplay. ShoC and CoP are somewhat better in this regard but guns do feel worse than something like Anomaly or Gamma.

I played Clear Sky with the SRP gunplay "fix" and it was so bad I started the game over and played it with the vanilla gunplay instead
