It's fucking insane how dogshit the feel of the game is at the start and just as you finally start getting used to it they introduce the (halo 2) brutes, which are probably the worst fucking enemies ever put in a shooter game, and make you almost exclusively fight them.

There's a reason why brutes changed massively from halo 3 onwards to the point where they don't even seem like the same enemy.
