Apparently, a previous version of the GTA 6 story featured three playable protagonists - a crooked cop, the cop's son, and someone who was the "right-hand man" to a Colombian drug lord. Another version of the game supposedly followed a Vice City police officer looking to avenge her mother's death and a drug smuggler. Finally, a third version of the game is said to have been about a police officer and an ex-soldier.

Yeah, that's statement is more like it. They interfered so much post GTA V release that the entire old writing team considered rdr2 their swan song and left because they knew take two would never let them do what they wanted anymore because everything was GTA online oriented

That's the thing. Dan Houser and Sam Houser (his brother) founded Rockstar but Sam is the CEO and Dan is just the writer or vice president or some shit.

Sam probably rejected it over marketing concerns, and fell out with his bro, on top of femoids at the studio complaining about Dan being too dark and nasty (he also created a culture within the studio of people going to strip clubs and doing drugs together)

You know it's true because when he left there was a comment by a Rockstar employee saying "Thankfully things have gotten better since we cleared up the environment."

So it's gonna be complete wokeslop. Also my cousin works on the game from Rockstar Scotland, and he looks so run down these days I just know it's because his self-esteem is rock-bottom because he's surrounded by woketards.
