Yes anon sorry I don't want to play DOOM classic I've already played that and am not in the mood for that kind of game and New Vegas has a lot of shotguns in it but isn't really that fun as a shooter since the melee enemies make most combat into back peddle and shoot

You don't play a role in it, outside of combat the options are very very limited. It's merely a Fallout combat simulator. Not that that's a bad thing really.

Red dead redemption 2. If you use a controller the trigger is pressure sensitive so you can half pull the trigger to pump the shotgun but not shoot it. It's extremely satisfying and kino being able to manually pump the shotgun after a shot or while you're walking

It's kind of apples to oranges. Marathon's double shotguns is closer to Doom's BFG in utility. Powerful but much harder to find ammo for, mostly saved for when shit hits the fan. The super shotgun is a workhorse, not as powerful but always available and useful.

Most good shotguns in Warframe barely function like shotguns anymore because they need to clear rooms.
Personally I still like using the Kuva Kohm and Hek, but those are largely for completely obliterating the eximus that happened to annoy me rather than regular usage.
