Idk, i don't think it's comparable to issac.
I think isaac is more of a 'random bullshit' game where you can easily break it or salvage a run. Items are a huge element of the core gameplay. It's also slower paced since the challenges are bite sized rooms
NT is more about raw skill and learning how to take risks, with open fields and waves of bullets and overall faster pace.
Gungeon is closer to isaac than NT in any case and it sucks compared to both

Comparing isaac and gungeon is stupid. It's two different games with different ideas. There are almost no "builds" in gungeon, even worse flooding the pool with bad guns (95% of them) is a bad idea. Isaac, on the other hand - is all about meta-information synergy building.

I feel like Gungeon left a bad taste in everyones mouth with its early releases and no one went back after its final dlc when it finally rounded out and is pretty damn good. Sadly because of the overload in guns and items you could easily start a run with absolute garbage and no way to hit the optional floors

Nuclear Throne is nothing like Isaac, Isaac is an autism sim where you hold R and try to break the game. NT is more skill expressive, RNG plays a much smaller part and has a great arcade feel, you can boot it up and loop within 15 minutes or less if you want. Love both of them.
Gungeon is alright, I didn't really play the updates that much but I remember it feeling sluggish and a lot of items and guns felt like dogshit.

ROR is very fun slop. You don't "plan" around things you just are sometimes given a good build (I wish Returns added the ROR2 printers. Artifact Of Command sucks shit.)
Isaac just has so much shit and I think the largest mod community. Like some mods just straight up implement mechanics from the above games. You could play that game forever.

Yeah I don't like how over half the pickups are more guns. I like passives that change how I play in general.
They added inert "synergies" if you have multiple items (e.g. 2 guns) that grants a passive, but it's not like you're going to know about that beforehand. I like games where I have to make decisions on my build.
Also the fact there's 2 chests per floor, you need a key for chests, key drops are rare as shit, and some chests DO NOT CONTAIN ITEMS.
And then if you want a Health Up from a Boss (Health Ups are incredibly rare) you have to do it hitless (and they're really tanky). I mean Isaac makes you lose deal chance if you take Red Heart damage in a Boss but its a deal room, not a direct upgrade.

The only cheevo I'm missing (besides the 100%) is the ultra skeleton one. Are you supposed to pray to the RNGods that the first mutation you get is the extra speed one? I didn't really like NT, beat the throne and had a sense of "that's it?" Yeah I know there's looping but it wasn't fun the first time around.

Also didn't like Voidigo, the guns felt like shit.

I haven't played Isaac, sorry the aesthetic just filters me.

I actually really liked Gungeon. Filled out the ammonomicon and everything. Kept Turbo on from the moment I unlocked it. Rainbow runs also fix a lot of the feeling of "not getting good items."

I will say Gungeon got a big update at one point that added way more synergies between items. Before then a synergy was super-rare to the point that most items just felt like duds. Now you're almost guaranteed to get multiple in a longer run.

Isaac is ok but lot of players in multiplayer are fucking idiots. I give 2 warnings each time and kick/quit on the third.

It’s just common knowledge that Enter the Gungeon is a far superior game to Nuclear Throne

Dead Estate is fun enough for what it is, but I wouldn't recommend it for anyone looking for a challenge. It's trivially easy to break, once you get used to the economy. There's lots of fun characters, though the guns are pretty samey, barring some exceptions.
There's some cool challenges, like pac-man and a whole survival horror mode

I honestly don't really like NT and prefer Gungeon a lot more. I can see myself avoiding everything in Gungeon in an open field with enough skill. In NT I can't see myself living more than a few second.

Gungeon is a shmup telegraphing everything correctly, in NT you try find the closest corner to hide behind because you're not meant to avoid bullets as they come. There's way too much RNG in NT for my taste.
I like shmups, I don't like hiding and praying that you'll shoot first and see the mob about to kill you before it shoots.

How does Nuclear Throne look/run for Switch 2? I got the itch to play again and it would be ideal to play on my bed

Blatantly false. Original NT has awful mutation balance and using long arms+trigger fingers trivializes it far far more than any UM exclusive muts.
Or getting an auto crossbow with bolt marrow honestly. UM has gotten a lot of changes over time too, and there's much more challenging content through inverted areas and loop autism. Hard mode is also ball busting too.
I say this as someone who has 100%ed Ultra Mod (before the latest beta characters just added), original NT is fantastic but it's far from perfect and has a lot of balance issues.
