Don't.

But if you're autistic and doing it anyways, go pure mage. Collect and use all spells.

This. Conjuration is particularly useful.

Skyrim really has withstood the test of time. Lots of people still play it unmodded too.

>contrarianism has gone so far they are now pretending vanilla Skyrim is somehow preferable than a heavly modded version

If you want to play Skyrim outside of PC, vanilla is the standard.

What kind of masochist would ever want that?

The visible numbers suggest modding accounts for a tiny fraction of the fan base.
If we take the 60 million copies sold as true and assume everyone still playing Skyrim on steam is playing a modded version that accounts for 1/10th of 1% of the entire fan base.
That is less relevant than a rounding error.

I have no idea where modders got the idea they had an impact on Bethesda games success.

What's so hard about this? The only tedious part is collecting skill books. Right? Everything else is actual gameplay/quests.

It's not like it has 500 collectables all over the map.

If you follow Ralof into Helgen Keep during the beginning of Skyrimjob, he unknowingly completes an aurbic ritual through the unbinding of your hands (untying the Prisoner from fate) inside of a Tower--symbolic of the wheel/cylinder within which all of 'reality' occurs--where a chandelier casts the shadow of an eight-spoked wheel upon the floor of the same ritual chamber containing a deer head casting dragon-like wing shadows, between the bear emblem of the Stormcloaks and the Imperial sigil.

People who play unmodded Skyrim and somehow enjoy it are the most based of based retards on the planet. I wish my taste in vidya were so fucking terrible that I could enjoy one of the most shallow and boring fucking games to exist without having to spend days modding it to the point I can actually play it. I'm genuinely envious.

Not hard, but playing a maxed out John Everyman in RPGs is lame. It's better to play the game through different characters.

People just get burned out doing everything, and then they come to /v/ to bitch about it.

NTA but I learned to love Skyrim as one of the kinoest games of all time if I spend 100 hours modding it before my 400 hour completionist run every 2-3 years
I would sooner fucking kill myself than consider playing skyrim unmodded however
