I realyl liked Witcher 3 but goign open world was a mistake, they should've done it in a more linear sequential fashion liek they did with the acts in the earlier Witcher games. Either that or ditch Skellige, Skellige sucked

I used to really like this game. Did a playthrough of the trilogy recently and found 3 to be really dull, but I still really like the first game and the second is okay. By the time I finished 3, I was just glad it was over and felt like I wasted a ton of time.

CDPR rushed it but it still remained to be the only game worthy to play that year and for a decade before BG3.

the combat was decent. got boring after awhile. only a few boss battles were engaging and kino. I have big problems with the plot and characters

There's also just way too many cutscenes full of dialog that drags on way longer than it needs to. 1 and 2 also had a lot of talking, but it felt like they got to the point much quicker than 3.
