The late 2000s was the golden age of cuh-razy hack and slashes it's not like it was impossible to make spectacle fights back, then they just chose not to. Okay, Fromfaggot. Continue defending the most lazy boss design imaginable. The bosses in this game are either honed in one player chasing him relentlessly while the others try to keep up OR they're shitting AOE. There's no attempt to make the fights an actually engaging melee for all involved. From gave up, and the game is a joke because of it.

Like the other anon said above, "floor is lava" boss design where you have to move away from the bad areas is one of the most common mmo boss gimmicks you could find. I don't think it's a terrible thing but it's evocative of the genre.

Both. The nightlord bosses are new, but most of the game is recycling assets in semi-new ways. It's fun/good though, don't really know if I'd say it's worth the entry cost though.

It's way easier solo, to easy. I didn't even know I was suppose to jump in the middle of the tornado, with all the revives you can just dps your way through the fight.

For these fights they should remove the free revive/extra runes.

No, that'd be something along the lines of random bullet spam because the dev wants cred for aping Touhou. I'm sure there are roguelites with "go into the circle to not die" type boss patterns but it's not really something associated with the genre.

Did you have a lot of physical damage negation or does the tornado just do that much less damage solo? I just failed a run where it killed me full to 0 in three ticks at level 14 because I didn't have full stamina when the boss decided right on top of me was the target for the tornado.

I'd be okay with this boss if the hitboxes on aoes weren't so fuckin bad in this game. It's actually getting worse as I grow more comfortable with his attacks because I don't bother to dodge when it clearly won't hit me - which then proceeds to hit me because there's an extra 3m of invisible hitbox on the edge of everything.
