Garrus carried the game, something about Avowed feels off, like they nail something down but instead of sticking with it they kinda pull back and shit. Like baking a cookie and you get it right but then you say "no this is too much" and dial it back. Which is weird because they've made an open world before and "Skyrim with guns" would seem easy enough for them to make.
