Nintendo doesn't seem to have much confidence in Metroid Prime 4, lol.
Pretty sure it's a mistake. Not about the image but the out now on it being wrong. You see the same thing for a Mario Kart World ad in the same place. Some intern made some mistake with the files somewhere. It's probably close to release. Probably after Donkey Kong Bananza.

Please also give us patches for Metroid Dread and Prime Remastered, please also give us a remaster of Metroid Samus Returns and fix all of it's retarded bullshit.

Anon, you fucking idiot. It's legit. There have been multiple photos taken from multiple people that are in the same area. An intern fucked up. That's all it is. Not everything is some big epic photoshop troll.

Someone fucked up when they designed the poster.
Probably used a template with the banner/logo/etc and forgot to turn off that layer. Here it is on the Mario Kart poster in the same spot.
Also notice (on the Metroid poster) it looks like there is something behind it being covered up by the "OUT NOW" which would be the correct date (just "2025" or something) or coming soon or whatever.

This poster is too big for your rooms.
I've seen the new HTTYD movie poster while passing by a station and also hate I can't have it at home.

It's obviously a shop. Other people would've taken pictures by now. It's just this one set floating around, and surprise surprise it's a writer for a shitty video game journalism site that took the pictures and first "reported" on it.
Probably just trying to get clicks.

Hey.
Anon.
Open the picture.
Look at the 'Out Now' bar.
You can VERY clearly see a second bar/layer under it.
Whatever dumb fuck jeet/zoomer that was put in charge of this added the 'out now' tag over the release date tag.
Use your eyes anons.

its embarassing how this game still uses the metroid prime lock on feature. that shit only existed because of metroid prime's retarded method of aiming around using shoulder buttons. they had to have a lock on button because there was no way to aim at moving targets effectively using their awful control scheme. and it still persists lmao
