The common thief wants a quick thrill, not a shift at the distribution center.
And that's the other thing--the weight. The Nintendo Switch 2 weighs 534g (and that's not including accessories in the box) each, multiply that by 2,800 and that's 1495200 g, or 1495 kg, or 3,296 pounds, or 1.6 tons. All that would require a large, specialized vehicle, a big van at the very minimum.
It sure is convenient that if this was just a random hit that it was full of Switch 2 consoles and not pallets of store-brand fertilizer.
