PVP games aren't for people who can't handle losing. You're meant to learn from your losses and think about what you could have done better next time. Multiplayer games are for people who want to prove they're better than others. If you don't mind being inferior, then play something else.

PvP games are for addicts, every game you enter (unless it's a 1v1, completely deterministic, game) is RNG where you have a little influence. It's essentially gambling. Just think you play a 5v5 match where you have agency over 10% of the match. Yes if you improve over a long enough timeline you will climb but these games are designed to get you addicted to the win. PvP games aren't fun when you are losing, it's not fun to lose if you are an improvement focused person as you feel you are not improving. ASSFAGGOT's are especially unfun when losing due to the nature of the economy in game and how playing from behind is miserable.

That's not true at all. You're one of five players on the team, and that means you have at least control of 20% of the win. Considering most people are stupid, it's higher than 20% if you're competent. You don't understand this because you're unintelligent. I don't play ASSFAGGOT's anymore, I played LoL when it came out for a few years and played like 200 hours of DotA. Have played R6S, CS:GO, Rocket League. All of these games and their ranked systems obviously will get you to the rank you deserve to be in, but once you are there it's RNG + your skill, however if you are at the rank you are supposed to be at then you have to be playing at 100% of your ability to only have 10% (yes 10% because you are 1 of 10 people in the match) influence over the game. People don't have fun in these games unless winning, I've never had fun losing, I've never heard a friend have fun losing, never heard a teammate have fun losing. It isn't fun to lose. The best advice you can give someone who tilts easy is to tell them that the matchmaking is RNG and you only have agency over yourself. I'm GC in Rocket League and freeplay is more fun that games, games are just there to play for a few mins after grinding mechanics in freeplay since that's how you actually get better at the game.

A lot of people have naturally high MMR because they are young and talented, but some of high MMR people are there because they try hard to beat the system. Also I suspect that Dota+ subscription can influence your MMR climb.
Okay it's not pure RNG, you can actually control it, but it's soul-crushing job. You need to remake accounts, you need to copy what other people do (be a metaslave), you need to play role that you might not like, you need to try hard every game, which is mentally taxing. You get there to high MMR, will still see dumb people and dumb shit done, but the effort made will be tremendous. I just play for fun and what I like. My MMR is 3500.

Because it's how the game works. Imagine you need to climb MMR and like to play support heroes. About 10 years ago climbing as a support was really hard (it's hard still but if you know how to abuse the system, you can climb). Then you naturally switch to mid - and then get 5 smurfs in a row against you that stomp your ass. There is a way to counter it: play more games, on average you will always climb if you're good at the game. But do you really want to sit hours and hours on your ass playing same hero, doing same actions because mathematically they have higher % of win? It's fun to try new things that might work instead of playing Invoker mid all day every day.

You never have to play mid as a support because you can play infinite support role queue games, you have a different "hidden" mmr for all the roles you don't play (about 1-2 stars max ~300mmr), and you can literally just play sniper mid in your rank, literal 0 iq hero and if you have any resemblence of gamesense, gank a couple of times before the 10 minute mark with shrapnel and don't feed your ass you can win in 3.5k.

the only joy I've found in this deplorable game is making plays that I know will annoy my teammates that are taking it too seriously. conversating with them and trolling via voice chat is the most fun I've ever had in multiplayer games in general.

And the issue is that since it's a team based games, undeserved losses can be very tough to bear if you play multiple games a day, bringing your performance down in a game where you have a decent team.

The climbing in MOBA is just shit anyway, as it is in any game with sbmm
I stopped playing at around 4k MMR for 2k hours played and if the game allowed me to play with much more skilled players (even on unranked), I'd have reached that level in 800 hours. This is how I improved really quickly in fps games with community servers, I could easily join sweaty ones, get fucked and improve a lot in a very short time.

I play Turbo from time to time with my stack of 5, it's pretty fun, especially if you are playing a more important role (carry or mid).
