phone rotation is fake, it simply attaches a bit of info that says "hey can you rotate this photo 90 degrees, thanks" without actually rotating the image, so 4chan just posts the image as is. you'd have to either retake the photo and make sure it's properly vertical, or open it up in mspaint and rotate it there

nta but i had a pc that when you would rotate using windows, i would also have to close my browser, otherwise if i tried posting the corrected version, somehow it would post the original sideways version even though the thumbnail appears correct
