It’s not even just the voice actor. They added in an unlikeable character and gave them way too many lines. In just one expansion this character had more lines than main characters who were present for all expansions. In the newest update with post Dawntrail content it even looks like they edited her out of scenes at the last minute. In general the Dawntrail content is really bad. They actually are killing their game but you could argue the game is near the ending of its lifespan too.

It's not just a bad voice actor, there are other languages than english and they hate her too. She's completely forced into the plot, in everything. They turned her into the main character. Even worse than alphinaud ever could be before in earlier expacs. She's the mc of the game for dawntrail and has more presence, scenes and lines in that one xpac than the rest of the scions over the games entire tenure or some insane shit. She's always there. But in general expansion is just shit:

That's all on top of expansion being extremely formulaic and not even trying to experiment with anything. I fucking LOVED XIV from the beginning to end of Endwalker (Stormblood kinda sucked tho), but Dawntrail is just a prime example of a creator's block in gaming form. I'm not even planning to resub until they show the willingness to take major risks with the game.

Crystalline Conflict and the new job designs are very different from the old Feast and job design back then. Healers don't really function like that anymore and every job is unironically much more interesting mechanically than and with more unique skills than it's pve counterpart.

The "story" MMO has had a story that's been rough for over a year now. The issues didn't start in Dawntrail, they started in Endwalker, got worse in post-Endwalker, and exponentially worse in Dawntrail. You can't have your bread and butter reason that people play your game over others be the lore and story and then fuck up the lore and story.
