I actually got to try an early build of Kenshi 2 because one of Chris Hunts goons clubbed me over the head and imprisoned me in Chris Hunts basement and forced me to work as a QA slave.
It turns out that every major character in Kenshi 2 is a fat, black feminist trans woman girlboss and my character actually got killed by a black trans girlboss squad for being a healthy, athletic white man which is a crime now in Kenshi 2s world.
Also they deleted the blunt weapon category and the fragmented axe because they told me that those are "racist transphobe chuddy weapons that discriminate against women, obese people and physically weak people".
So yeah, do not buy that game.

First post absolute best post. A giant completely empty sandbox with almost nothing to do. Basically no story or dialogue, very few quests to do, very limited interactions with npcs, combat plays like an RTS with almost none of the other complexities that make RTS games fun. If you want an extremely grindy sandbox survival game with base building, this is it.

Its not an entirely untrue statement, but there is something to the game that causes people to play for 5000+ hours. Its not for everyone, but when its your type of game, its REALLY your type of game. Something about having so much room to grow in strength and constantly progress feels good to me. I do think the world is too empty and excessive in size, but the content it does have keeps me entertained.

i'll play kenshi 2 though

I love kenshi, i have almost 800 hours playing the game. It's like people say, it's a big empty open world game. But it has a great atmosphere and lots of soul.
You'll either love the freedom and exploration, or get mad that it didn't give you a quest arrow and refund.

It's about how you get to the various milestones. Starting penniless and occasionally limbless but being able to get gear and money and a settlement going is the journey.
It is a game you have to be in the right mindset to enjoy though. I can't count how many times I've started it up but quit after a few mins because I wasn't feeling like rping that day.
