I dont interact because most of time people are not interested is communicating or shy, the people who do speak are not interested in a stranger or are just trying to troll. 99% of voice chat interaction are just way too autistic/cringe that it stresses me out. I have just learned to never speak, particularly to those who have that slightly feminine lisp but low octave voice where you cant tell if its a tranny or just a lesbian. Since I got a VR headset I have tried out VRChat and always end up just silently hanging around Koreans and Japanese worlds because then I get to be around people who talk, but I don't have to understand them while I wonder around. I guess being an alien among strangers is my safe space.

I like playing single player games and getting absorbed in the world and atmosphere. VC breaks immersion and there is a high chance I'll be ask to play some multiplayer game I don't want to at the moment. Maybe I should set myself to invisible so people don't think I want to join VC with them.

I’m British despite that I thoroughly hate speaking to fellow British people. They are all assholes and usually have painfully annoying voices, accents and overuse slang dialect meanwhile I do everything I can to speak well and not use slang but in doing so my resentment for other has only grown. Then if I speak to another nationality it all descends into “insert typical Brit joke here”. You guys wouldn’t know what I’d give to a good clear standard American accent instead of a deep voice British accent. I’ve accepted my online seclusion years ago though so I’m unconcerned. If I'm not actively engaging in a video game or something where I can relay the immediate situation I genuinely can't spin up conversation for the life of me. My ability to synthesise a topic to speak of without some kind of origin point to blossom forth from is greatly impaired and sees that my conversations are better held amongst a larger group than by one's lonesome few as thoughts, topics and ideas bounce between individuals and I can subsume into the reverb
