>>713241460>There is no real hard content in any MMO. Mechanics always boil doing to timing events or "don't stand on the fire"You just betrayed yourself as not having played anything hard. There are reaction based mechanics, short/long term memorization mechanics, as well as abstract problem solving mechanics that pop up in hard content. All of these mechanics can be scaled to be arbitrarily difficult, even to the point of being nearly impossible. And on top of that, they are all mixed and matched, time sensitive, and require mechanical execution to be maintained during them. Your stance is like saying bullet hells and rhythm games like DDR are easy on their highest difficulties. High end MMO content is that, with extra mechanics layered on for good measure.
>the actually "difficulty" really is just a gear check, which in turn is just how much time you put into grinding PvE to increase your DPS. The gear stuff is minimal since it's fed to you. And it's not like MMO PvP isn't decided by gear and level lmao.
>Despite both being dead genres, Fightans and MMOs have absolutely zero things in common. You mean besides having PvP, mechanical skill checks, memorization, and real time psychological analysis? Lol. MMOs were an easy fit BECAUSE I was good at fighting games bud.
