Pretty low. Above windwaker but below everything else. I had a better time with Skyward Sword. Oh and TOTK is on the bottom. At least Zelda 2 is fun to replay.

Botw/totk was ok, but I don't like the open world design and short and limited dungeons, build mechanic is neat and the tech behind it is awesome but nothing comes close to the titles that stick to the Ocarina formula, we need to go back. I'm tired of open world slop with no proper dungeons.

I just hope they scrap the open world gimmicks and small/limited dungeon design and go back to a more linear approach with massive dungeons and good puzzles like OoT/MM/WW, a more horror/dark vibe would be nice too.

It feels like your average open world game with Zelda characters in it for some reason.

Objectively, it's near the top, but personally I rank it towards the bottom because I actually like all the stuff they threw out so this game is less to my taste than the previous entries.

I have not played even 5 minutes of TotK or EoW, so I think this game might have killed Zelda for me lol.

The games would rank pretty low. When you remove all the metacritic and game journo praise and game awards, there's so many cracks and inconsistencies below the surface, and they really show themselves once you inspect them closer. The whole game wanted to be gigantic, but it has nothing to fill the void with, so it copypastes koroks and bokoblin camps everywhere.

Tell me, why do you think the game gives you like 100+ fast travel points? If the world was so fun and full of interesting stuff to do, you wouldn't even need half that many. Infact it would be fun to backtrack to a shrine or a shiekah tower on foot, if need be. That right there is always the telltale sign of a game that value quantity over quality. Wind Waker was similarly guilty of this with the ballad of gales. Without that, sailing the seven seas was boring as sin.
